STEM @ Root Magical Mystery Tour
Where will we go this year?
All Root students have a chance to go on the STEM @ Root Magical Mystery Tour. We will draw names from each grade on March 28th for the mystery trip that will take place on April 24th!
The first year we had this tradition, a group of Root students went to the Krispy Kreme factory to see the technology behind this tasty treat...and we enjoyed sampling the final product. The second year of our mystery trip was a private behind-the-scenes tour of the Wake Tech Culinary Arts Showcase, which ended with each student decorating a cupcake (and eating it too). I wonder what science, technology, engineering, or math excitement will happen on this year's STEM @ Root Magical Mystery Tour???
Because every Root student participates in STEM, every student will be entered in the drawing for the STEM @ Root Magical Mystery Tour. Here's how it works:

Two student names will be drawn from each K-5 grade, for a total of 12 students.
Two student names will be drawn from the STEM Family Night @ Root. Avery Lund, 1st grade, Keel
Jack Powers, Kindergartner, Paysour Six student names will be drawn from students who present at the STEM Fair @ Root (2 from each grade, 3rd-5th).
3rd grade: Macon Hawse, Fenimore
