***STEM Fair Participant Update***
Students are asked to pick up their projects from the Media Center asap
Check list on website or with Ms T in the media center to see if your project was selected to be displayed in the Media Center. Some projects were selected to be presented orally to the 2nd grade classes in order to prepare them for next year.  Unfortunately, not all of the projects could be displayed or chosen to be presented due to limited space and time.
***certificates will go home in May 7th Tuesday folders***
The STEM@Root Committee is having a surprise Ice Cream Social for all of our STEM Fair participants to celebrate everyone's success in completing and presenting their STEM Fair Projects!  Date and time will be announced soon!

STEM@Root 2013

Join Root students as they learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and  Math (STEM) during STEM @ Root 2013.  Our theme this year is "Oh, the Places You'll Go!," with a focus on all the ways STEM impacts our everyday lives, and all the places you can go with knowledge in the STEM fields.

STEM @ Root helps support teachers and students in the implementation STEM enrichment through special programs including, pre-K-2nd gr enrichment, STEM Fair (3-5th gr), Mentor Program, STEM Family Night, Speedway Challenge and STEM Friday.
