Congratulations to all Root students who participated in the STEM Fair this year! The reviewers wer every impressed by your ideas, presentations, and energy. Twenty of the projects will be on display in the Root Media Center—we wish we could display them all! Please come by to see these great examples of our students’ work. Some of the 3rd grade STEM Fair participants have been invited to give classroom presentations to help the 2nd graders know what to expect next year.

Great Data: Will Percy* in his study of centrifugal force.

Best Demonstration of Scientific Method, and Effective Visual Display: Nayasha Randolf* for her investigation of breathing and
heart rate.
